One hour Decathlon: The one hour decathlon is a special type of decathlon, in which the athletes have to start the last of ten events (1500 m) within sixty minutes after the start of the first event. The world record holder is a Czech decathlete Robert Změlík, who achieved 7897 points at a meeting in Ostrava,Czechoslovakia, in 1992.[9]

The standard competition events are (in this order):

  • 100 meter sprint
  • Discus throw
  • Pole vault
  • Javelin throw
  • 400 metres
  • 100 metres hurdles
  • Long jump
  • Shot put
  • High jump
  • 1500 metres

Modified for CrossFit and the limitations of the gym, sorry guys no Javelins yet….

  • 100 m bodyweight farmer’s walk
  • 10 bodyweight bench press or 225lbs max reps if capable
  • 5 rope climbs
  • 400 m sprint
  • 50 m bear crawl
  • 50 m broad jump
  • 30 1/2 height box jumps (e.g. 6′ guy would jump on a 3′ box)
  • 30 pullups
  • 1600 meter run
  • Max Clean and Jerk
  • Max Snatch
