Kyle has always been the guy who just likes lifting heavy things. He’s been that way since 9th grade when he first stepped into a weight room. There have been many other things he’s competed in and enjoyed along the way – baseball, water skiing, ultra marathons – but strength training has always been his favorite. There’s not much more raw or unassailable than lifting more weight that you did last time you tried.
Toward the end of his 10 years running ultra marathons, he became familiar with CrossFit through the CrossFit Endurance training programming. It was meant to marry the two sports that he most enjoyed participating in. Since then, strength training and CrossFit have taken a dominant front seat in his extracurricular passions. He enjoys talking with people about how to be better strength athletes and generally more healthy individuals. Honestly, he just enjoys talking. The programming at AllSport is right up his alley. The combination of progressive strength conditioning along with a variety of grueling WODs is what makes him tick.
His wife, Britt, endures him and his four children and might be part of the reason why he stays at the gym for about thirty minutes longer than scheduled.
